Furry Friends Pet Services is a friendly, professional and reliable Brighton-based dog walking, puppy sitting and pet feeding company run since 2011 by owners and animal lovers, Sam and Billie-Jo. We also have a part-time walker on our team; Keith. (Find out more about us here)
We set Furry Friends up because, like most dog walkers, we felt uninspired in our previous jobs and wanted nothing more than to spend all day with dogs!
We have three rescue dogs of our own; Mouse, a Lurcher, Pearl, an American Bulldog and Snorkle – A tiny pug. We have previously owned a boxer, rottweiler, several cavalier king charles spaniels, a chihuahua, an akita and a jack russell, in addition to snakes, ferrets, chickens and cats. Having organised pet care for our boxer Harvey for many years when we used to work out of town, we understand how important it is to know that your beloved furry family member is properly looked after when you can’t be there.
All furry friends are CRB (police) checked and in previous careers in schools (Sam) and the NHS (Billie-Jo) we worked extensively in positions of trust with children and vulnerable adults. Many of our services involve you entrusting us with the welfare of your pet and a key to your home so you can be assured both are in safe hands.
We are fully insured and animal first aid trained in case of an emergency involving your pet. Sam and Billie-Jo have also studied dog training and canine behaviour at Steve Mann’s Institute of Modern Dog Trainers in Hertfordshire.
